Notes
Shaaron School Project Renewal of funding

Ganesh shared the proposal and site visit report with the team. He presented the progress of the school during the year for example- The school conducted special programs where the students participated in the special zonal sports and won prizes. They also participated in district level sports and won prizes. The school initiated vocational project, phenyl making for senior kids.
Also the school lost a teacher last year and they were required to save the money sent to the school in the bank. THis money will be used for the newly hired teacher this year. As a result the team decided to send money only for 4 teachers this year. Also, the school again requested support for their initiative to build a dining shed for the children. This has been a long standing request for 3 years. The school has already raised 2/3rd of the money for this initiative from local donations. Since Asha Toledo is not supporting 1 teacher this year, it was decided that we would contribute Rs 1 lack towards the dining area.
We discussed about the funding renewal and the progress of the project.
The members present for the meeting voted for the funding for 4 Teachers' salary  at the rate of 12,000.00 Rs per teacher per month for  a total of Rs. 5,76,000.00 and for the dining shed for lunch area (Rs 1,00,000.00).

2. Does the chapter agree with the proposal that, in order to incentivize chapter volunteers to step up and get involved in these Asha-wide campaigns, a proportion of the funds raised should be allocated to the chapter of each volunteer who steps up to be involved in the Asha-wide campaign team AND meets the minimum level of involvement criteria (i.e. actually joining calls, and doing work related to the Asha-wide campaign vs. just signing up)? (Yes / No)

Assuming #2 passes with Yes, what percentage of the 50% of the Campaign General Funds do you think should be allocated for this purpose? Note that the percent that is approved in this question, will be divided equally among all Asha-wide campaign team volunteers' chapters. For example, if the campaign team has 4 volunteers one from Seattle, two from NYC/NJ and one from UIUC, and choice (ii) below is approved, 5% of the Campaign General Funds will be split into 4, with a quarter going to Seattle, 1/2 going to NYC/NJ and a quarter going to UIUC. Now, only 45% of Campaign General Funds will be divided equally among all Campaign Projects that met the local marketing and campaign calls requirements defined in the Fundraising section above. If #2 passes with "No" - this question is NULL and VOID.
