1.ARC propsalEstablishing Asha-wide Fundraising Campaign Policies

Anu : says that we need new officers for social media, PR responsibilities etc. This team will make decisions on the behalf of Asha, so we need to approve the team. Essentially the WAH team is expanding to the PR team. Chapters eligible for the fundraisers should be activated.

Discussion on understanding the split of general funds based on participation in campaigns.

Discussion on voting on question 2a.

Anu - Volunteers who show up to contribute to the framework need incentive for their own projects and chapters. Chapters who do not contribute, but use the framework for local level fundraising, need not get any more incentives.

Shashi, Anu, Mayank - In favour of 10%. As the campaign’s cause is to raise funds for the projects. 25% is a lot to be given away for contributing volunteers, as the projects need the funds. That is the purpose of the campaign. Do not want to dilute that. 10% is fair. Otherwise unfair to the team of stewards and chapter workers who came up with the material and did hard work with the project.

Vote:

All in favor of establishing the above Asha-wide Fundraising Campaign Policy

All in for Q2 and 10% incentive to incentivize chapter volunteers to step up and get involved in these Asha-wide campaigns as per Q2a.

 2. SSK projects discussion Proposal for 2018-19

Shashi - The budget this time around has increased from 5,00,000 to 10,00,000 to support assessments for 1000 children

Anu - Since Atlanta fundraising raising capacity is low and general fund are hitting a plateau, we should continue maintaining the previous proposal of support 500 children instead of 1000.

Dhwanil - Agreed maintaining the fund at 500 children make more sense right now.

Anu - It will also encourage CSR collaboration by SSK.
